Oak And Leather Club Chair

Club chair meets prairie chair in this lushly upholstered white oak and leather lounger. This chair is a contemporary take on the "Prairie Style" chairs made popular by Frank Lloyd Wright and Stickley. Set low and using horizontal lines and flat expanses to evoke the landscape of the prairie, designs from the Prairie School are some of the 20th Century's most iconic.

Here, using beautifully figured solid white oak, with reverse-tapered legs and corbels, it is also reminiscent of Limbert and Mackintosh. Traditional mortise-and-tenon construction, pinned with dowels, and panels of high-quality white oak veneer, make it solid and sure to stand the test of time. The tufted, distressed Italian leather upholstery is similar in style to the popular Chesterfield club chairs as well.

Note: This is a made-to-order listing. It can be made with a different color leather, a different stain, alternative wood (walnut, for example), or upholstered in fabric, etc. Just ask! Also, please inquire about shipping costs.
