As the customer had a vast library of cassette tapes, VHS tapes, cds, dvds, etc., it was imperative that the oak entertainment center have lots of drawer space. As the photos show, this was accomplished. The customer's large screen televsion would sit on top, while the various electronic devices would be stored in the shelving directly under the televsion, with all electrical cords exiting through the opening cut in to the back of the cabinet.

The drawers operate smoothly on heavy duty, full extension, ball bearing drawer slides. These heavy duty slides were necessary because the drawers would be weighted down by so many tapes, cds, and dvds. Additionally, dovetail construction was used on all drawers so they would endure the weight and wear and tear over time.

The entertainment center was sanded smooth, dusted, and prepared for a finish. However, it was delivered to the customer unfinished at the customer's request.
