The finished product was truly a work of art. Michelle was patient, courteous, easy to talk with, flexible, without drama, artistic and a true craftspeople. My wife and I could not be happier with the finished transom piece which was 5' long and 12" high.

This platter was created as a wedding gift for someone from the islands who now lives on the mainland. The colors and shapes recall the movement of the ocean that surrounds the Hawaiian Islands.
It is composed of fused glass with three copper circles imbedded in the glass. The swirls and eddies of color are created by incorporating raked glass pieces into the design.
The platter is 12" x 10" with a gentle bowed shape perfect for holding fruit. It is food safe and so could also be used as a serving dish. The platter should be hand washed and is not meant for use in the microwave.
The abstract flow and depth of color make it a contemporary piece that would fit into any decor.
