The "Old Fashioned" exhibits warm caramel, honey, and copper tones throughout the entire piece. These colors remind me of days at my grandmas long ago - munching on what seemed like a never-ending supply of butterscotch candies from the candy dish all day. Good times!

You can see patches and streaks of spalting scattered throughout the slabs which makes this piece visually interesting wherever you are seated around it. Spalting is a characteristic that is most commonly found in maple wood species, and occurs when fungus and/or beetles penetrate into the wood changing the wood's colors. Nature is amazing.

The table was set for a single chair and work station, but can comfortably seat six and squeeze in eight.

Each piece is finished with a protective oil and hardwax blend for a beautiful and warm matte finish. Finish will not water-spot.
