Old Growth Black Walnut Solid Wood Side Table
The Black Walnut for this table came from a beautiful old growth tree from Tennessee. Harvested in 2003 it waited for years for the right project to come to form for it. The front of the piece is Wild Cherry Wood and was curved by hand.
This one of a kind side table is made from solid Black Walnut and wild Cherry wood.
The work is mortised and tenon joinery with hand cut dovetails, with a bookmatched solid wood drawer bottom. It is hand planed and finished with polyurethane and polished with Renaissance furniture wax.
