So it is .... our house is filled with mistakes and miscuts, pieces damaged in shipping and returned, and mismatches. BUT..... there comes a time, when we owe it to ourselves ..... this was one of the earliest concepts that was the genesis of the current Mackintosh Beds. The concept was brand new and fresh when I made it for our anniversary. I probably need another one now...... but, I had better build a house first. We have been living in one end of the shop for 20 years now. So much to do ..... so little time.
Dimensions: There are many different thickness combinations of mattress/foundation, mattress/box spring, mattress only, or futon. The bed has to be proportioned to the customer's bedding . Headboards average 60" tall Foot boards are usually 36" or 40" tall
