This is a container for a dog's cremation. The client wanted to honor the memory of their pet with something unique having both an emotional remembrance, along with a strong visual "point" to aid in the celebration of his memory.

Although I primarily design jewelry boxes, a cremation container holds something more precious than jewelry and therefore it's a perfect place for a pet's memory.

The box is made from African Blackwood, Wenge, bloodwood and Redwood Lace Burl. Woods that both I and the client considered appropriate in conveying that mind-set. The box measures approx. 5 3/4 " wide x 4" deep and 5" high.

I feel that we both succeeded, capturing the spirit of Ozzy.
