P.120 Camera

The P.120 is the latest incarnation of the Pinoramic camera series begun in 1991. It is a medium format (film), lensless camera with a panoramic format covering 120 degrees across the horizontal view. A 0.009 inch pinhole creates an image across a 6 by 12 cm curved film plane. A hand held bulb operates a pneumatic shutter allowing for remote operation up to 30 feet away (with accessory bulb tubing). The curved back slides down and off the back of the camera and a pair of lift-up knobs provides for easy film loading.

With the current rennaisance in analog photography, film for this camera is as easy to find as ever. There are numerous film labs still in operation and the more DIY types can easily process their own film at home. Negatives (or positives) can be scanned for printing or publishing online. Or you can find good quality used enlarging equipment and set up the total analog photography experience.

These cameras are made to order, but I presently have one example partially complete. You can find postings about this camera and others at parrotcam on Instagram.
