I designed this bud vase with a smooth broken edge. The top of the glass was carefully cut just above the curved neck and then sanded smooth by hand. The image is made from a carefully hand-cut stencil, using a special paper I created myself. The result: clean lines and a sharp image.
This plant shown is called bloodroot. The bright green glass shows through a large leaf at the bottom and a gentle flower near the top. The rest of the bottle is a misty blue.
The top of this vase is completely smooth to protect your fingers and flowers. The inside of the vase is not painted, so feel free to fill it with water and plant food.
This vase stands 8 inches tall, 2 ½ inches wide at the base, and the opening is just over ½ inch.
Beauty and function are the corner stones of creating all my pieces. My tall simple vases go through a six stage process over a two day period to create the beautiful items you see here. You will not find these anywhere else.
This painted vase can be washed with warm soapy water and a soft sponge.
