Painting From Old Picture
On this project I created a small painting from a faded picture. It was created with acrylic paint on found wood.
The client who commissioned this piece received the old picture from a relative. It depicted him as a child on old family land. He was not satisfied with its condition and wanted a colored rendering of the photo.
I was able to reproduce the picture in acrylic paint, almost exactly and with more vivid colors than the original. He was very pleased to see his memories come back to life and I was happy to help.
