American black walnut and brushed aluminum, utilizing the blonde sapwood of the walnut, which is usually discarded, to provide a sense of drama, of light from darkness, as well as representing a more efficient use of material.
"Paschal" derives from the Hebrew "Pesach" or Passover. A new candle is blessed every year at Easter, and the flame represents the light of Christ in the world. Fabricated for Michael Cook, AIA.
