Pedestal Dinning Table With Curly Maple Veneer

This is a custom table with two raised pedestals and intersecting stretchers. The top was custom veneered (on both sides) which each of the three separate book matched veneers that I personally cut from one long board. Each veneer is 1/4" thick, not the standard 22 thousandths inch thickness commercially purchased.
The top is is a picture frame design and entirely constructed from cross grain splines. All edges of this table and pedestal have been substantially rounded for user comfort.

The underside of this table, as all of my tables, is completely finished and is as beautiful as the top.
Note the photograph of the pedestal turned up-side-down; it shows a curved inlay of wood which further incorporates structural integrity of the mitered pedestal.
The finish is a three part finish that is hand applied over a 17 day period that is made to withstand any use. It will not crack, peel, chip or flake and is not lacquer or varnish.

Dimensions: Dimensions and materials vary depending on the wishes of each client.
