Pembroke Table
42" Wide (open) 18" (closed) x 28 1/2" Tall x 35 1/4" Deep, 42 Hours
A rule joint allows each leaf to drop 90 degrees when not in use. When the leaves are up an even reveal shows along the joint's edge.
Each end of the table has a curved rail that is concentric with the table top.
Tapered legs lighten up the table's appearance without compromising the integrity of the structure.
Made of Black Cherry from Ashby, Ma. The table was exposed to ammonia fumes to give it a rich brown color. It was then finished with linseed oil, padded shellac, varnish and wax.
