Pileated Woodpeckers
This sculpture was carved on site in a white oak tree. One wing and the tail were added on the flying woodpecker otherwise this is all one tree. As a child I love to sit quietly in the woods and watch the animals. I love catch the life that I witness then and bring it in to my carvings.
Dimensions: 10 feet tall and 20 inches in diameter.
