this was one of my favorite jobs ever - and we believe the first of its kind.
i turned a vintage charlie's angels pinball machine into a desk for a toy collector's "man cave." i was lucky enough to do it again with a "lectronamo" desk. they keep getting better, and i have three more pinball machines ready to be transformed.
i also made a separate printer stand from a cocktail arcade machine and fashioned a computer stand out of leftover pinball parts and some new plywood.
the backglass was turned in to wall art and is illuminated with LED lights. the playfield of the pinball machine and arcade game glass are also illuminated with LED lights.

I had a pinball machine re-purposed as a desk by Tim Sway. My experience was nothing but positive. He has outstanding analytical skills in terms of problem solving, and he is willing to try a few different options until he finds the best solution, which was important for my project as I wanted a two-sided desk.
Tim has amazing carpentry skills, and is also a talented artist, needing to match up the paint and have a cohesive design between the original and the new artwork on the sides of the machine/desk.
Even after the desk was completed, on time, Tim went out of his to make sure I was comfortable with the shipping arrangements due to my own previous shipping issues, even though it wasn’t Tim’s cheapest shipping option.
My friend is considering having a desk made by Tim because of my great experience working with him.
Five stars, ++
We were so happy with the final project!!
Tim spent a great deal of time ensuring that my idea was fully realized by him before even starting the project. He was very enthusiastic about taking on this project and worked hard to find solutions to this novel creation. The final product is amazing and I think it is the first of its kind. Tim was the consummate professional throughout and truly wanted to make sure that I was pleased. Yes, given the opportunity and the right project, I would welcome working with Tim again.
