The "Counting Cubbies" are as fun to play with as they are colorful. There are no adjustable shelves, the entire unit is designed to be climed on. There are 10 different shapes, painted in 10 different colors. Getting kids to find and count the shapes is a blast. By the time they find number 10 there should be a big reward, so the 10 wave shelves were designed as the most complex and visual elements, and also the easiest to climb. On the right side wall a toy box is built into the bench seat with no-slam lid supports and more cubbies. The baseboard in the room is a radiant heater that is safe to touch. The floor has been double padded for falls. The entry door is a Dutch door with a shelf on the lower section. I'm told this has served as an indoor lemonade stand and various other imaginative games.
