This is a beautiful desktop work station that allows you to stand and work at your desk, or sit with upright posture at your desk. Ideally we would do both during the day to keep our body more limber and improve our posture.
There are two shelves for papers, notebooks or your laptop as well as the desk top surface. The bottom drawer provides more storage including the interchangeable front edge that allows you to have taller and shorter things on the podium.
The inlay was a personal choice of the client who ordered this stand. He and his wife had two dogs and a cockatee that were "family" for many years. This was how they wanted to honor their time together.
