Pottery Bookend - Leveque Tower

The Leveque Tower in Columbus, Ohio was completed in 1929 and at the time was the fifth tallest building in the world. The handmade pottery bookend replicates this Central Ohio landmark. It makes a great gift for the midwesterner in your life or as a token in honor of Columbus' bicentennial.

Measuring 8 inches high and 3.5 inches square at its base, the bookend has small rubber feet on the bottom to prevent slippage. The piece made with a clear glazed stoneware clay and weighted with sand. The bookend was hand built in my studio in Columbus, Ohio.
