This quilt features clothes from a client's son's first year of life. The client held onto her favorite pieces of clothing, and when ready sent the clothes to me.
The tiny shirts, pants, jackets, and a little lovie were cut and combined with bright quilters cotton in a path pattern (pattern "Jungle Path"). This pattern is especially suitable for baby clothes quilts - it adds pattern without overwhelming the little clothes.
It was quilted in a wave pattern. Where appropriate I added free-motion quilting to accentuate the fun features.
This quilt was backed in a soft polka-dot minky.
Some extra fun bits: several blocks feature the feet from footsie pajamas. The back of the quilt includes several pieces of fabric the client had purchased in Japan where her son was born.
