Quahog Sea Critter

A client was fortunate enough to find a Quahog pearl in a steamer (also called a scallop pearl). But what to do with it?

Fourteen karat white and rose gold are fabricated into a basket setting of my own design. The client also provided small side diamonds to use if I could figure out a way (I can always figure out a way!).

The result is a playful pendant that is a one-of-a-kind, from the center stone on through to its diamond tipped tentacles.
