Quanah's Table

The story of Quanah Parker is a sad story of oppression of Native Americans familiar to most Texans. The table is made from glass mosaic on an automotive window supported by old Bois d'Arc fence posts. There are three actual Indian arrowheads hanging from the center post, as well as a fossilized mollusk shell on the end post. The fringe is made from old barbed wire. There is a portrait of Quanah Parker on the lens of the lamp under the table.
