Queen Anne Lowboy

Cherry Conneticuit River Valley Lowboy with Cabriole legs, and pad feet. The center drawer has a hand carved fan.
I built this piece because I found the scalloped top very unique. One not usually found on Lowboys or "Dressing Tables." I used cherry as the primary wood, as was customarily used by the cabinetmakers of the Conneticuit River Valley during the 18th century. All shaping and carving was done by hand, "in house" at our shop. The finish is shellac and wax and it is a deep rich reddish brown color.
