I bet you'll never guess why I named this piece Numero Cinco?
This headboard is made of reclaimed Douglas Fir and African Padauk.
My wife and I have lots of fun making them. One reason is because I have my wife stand on the headboards as I'm glueing them up on my workbench. She does that in order for the wood to be as flat as possible while I'm clamping them down.
My wife also helps me pick out the reclaimed pieces that will go into each headboard.
