I sought out the wood for this table top and presented it for approval by the customer after our initial interview. The figured wood used in the construction for this type of build affects the overall price of the table.
The maple used in this top was Book matched 12"Wx60"L finished dimension heavily figured maple. It's extremely rare to find figured maple with this type of length and width but I have found a source for such materials and I'm offering them for handcrafted builds for my customers.
