I strongly recommend Aliberti Tile. I was looking for a customized project for my Mom's 80th birthday and had a very tight timeline. Within hours of posting on CustomMade, I got a response from Gregory Aliberti and asked to submit a proposal.
Gregory came up with a concept and design very quickly and confirmed that he could meet the deadline. He created a ceramic tile with a "Family Tree" that my Mom loved.
The communication through Custom Made was very efficient and thorough and Gregory was very professional.
This backsplash is made of 4" press molded relief tiles of my own design. the design is sculpted in clay then cast in plaster to make a negative shape. Once cured I press clay into the plaster to make each tile by hand. the tile is sold by the square foot with a 10 square foot minimum and available in 24 glaze colors.
