Raggedy Anne

raggedy anne, all grown up and ready to stomp some andy with her giant black studded boots. she wears a ragged red dress of fabric painted and formed with acrylic paint, and wild bushy red hair formed from thick strokes of gesso. her body is clay and painted in acrylic. she was the first doll/figure i made when i started making them again, and the only one that looks like this; i was playing with a few different styles before i decided on one to stick with. so not only is she one of a kind, she's also one of a style, as far as my output is concerned. i believe her body is acutally sculpy, not the air-dry clay i use now, but i'm really not sure. her fingers are not articulated, her hands look more like mittens with the indication of finger length; my other dolls have very realistic fingers (and oh what agony that can be) so look carefully at her hands and notice that they are not.

she stands 7" tall.
