Realistic Glass Green Gooseberry Sculpture, Life-Sized
This price is for One (1) glass green gooseberry sculpture.
Several gooseberries are shown in the pictures so you can see them from different angles and to show the possible color variations.
Your glass gooseberry sculpture will be individually handmade by me in the flame of a torch from Italian glass rods. It will show a degree of realism that you will not find anywhere else. No two are exactly alike. The hot glass is formed onto a copper wire stem that is then trimmed before shipping to a natural length of about 12mm (1/2").
Your glass gooseberries will be life sized - about 15mm to 17mm in diameter. I can make it in a range of colors from tart yellow-green through slightly riper green-yellow, ripe yellow and slightly overripe golden brown.
Like a real gooseberry, your glass gooseberry sculpture will be translucent with delicate white veins running over the surface from the stem to the dried flower at the tip, and you can see the seeds inside. The glass dried flower at the end of the gooseberry will be built around a copper wire for strength and the edges will be rounded so they will resist breakage. The surface of the glass will be etched to provide a soft, matte finish like you would find on the skin of a real gooseberry.

Each glass gooseberry is priced at $50.00. You may specify the color you prefer when you make your order.
