I searched for months for an oversized (7") newel post emulating the design and workmanship of 100 years ago for our farmhouse. I found Bill Pinion's site and can only say the whole experience of working with Bill has been delightful from start to finish. Top notch craftsmanship, first class professionalism.
This is a 2 tier reception desk made of english chestnut. It was designed to go at the entry of a Country Club. The design also takes into consideration that customers could use any of the three sections, top tier, for writing/signing etc.
