Reclaimed American Chestnut Dinning Table
The table & bench is entirely hand built from reclaimed American Chestnut. If reclaimed wood were gems. Chestnut wood be a diamond. In 1902, the blight was discovered and wiped out nearly 4 billion of these trees within 40 years.
During the blight, it has been said that the trees were like giant silver white skeletons that towered over the forest. And during bloom, the hillside of mountains are recalled as covered in white snow on the 4 of July.
