Reclaimed Beam Coffee Table With Glass Top

This piece was an exercise in what could be made with a particular piece. Found as a large L covered in white paint, with the corners doweled half lapped and doweled, I cut it down to square proportions, mirrored the dowelling on the opposing side with 5/8" hardware. Each section was half lapped to keep that motif through out, and the waste from those half laps were repurposed as the canted legs underneath. The center houses a 3/8" piece of repurposed glass that is inset to the top.

Great rustic aged look would be perfect with a small succulent plant in the middle or under neath to be admired from above. In the living room or in a small garden cul de sac.
