The bold, angular frame is made from welded square steel tubing. Reclaimed if I can find it, but mostly new. The raw steel is finished with a clear coat, preventing rust and maintaining the unique, raw characteristics of mild steel.
The wooden top is the star of the show. In it's gouges, swirling knots and twisting fractures, these 1.5" thick chunks of reclaimed wood are bold, unique beauties. Don't worry about the gouges and cracks - they're structurally sound and beautiful - and they won't snag your clothes. Before finishing, all voids are filled with a clear resin to prevent catching, fortifying structural integrity, and showing off all the beauty of reclaimed wood in an incredible, seamless finish. Once sanded smooth through five progressions, a clear, minimal finish is applied, making the wood pop while keeping a natural, smooth feel to the wood.

Pulled myself from a farm in Kiowa, CO, this wood cleans up beautifully. Years in the elements have lended irreplicable character to these lengths of Douglas Fir and Cedar. A clear resin and top coat finish showcase the beauty of years in the Colorado elements. Supply may be limited.
