Reclaimed Chestnut Barn Beam Kitchen Table

A very limited supply of barn beams remain - the barn was built in 1820 in central Ohio, its still intact but spare beams stored in the loft are now being transformed into furniture. In most cases, I can even preserve the axe and adze cuts, indicators of the craftsmen who toiled to build the barn.
The table measures 29" tall, 36" wide and 62 inches long with a 24" leaf to expand the dimensions when needed. The legs and apron are made of black stained and poly satin finished beach and maple. The chestnut top finish is a tung oil and varnish finish.
