Fishtail oak is a stunning wood that blends shades of chocolate, honey, rose, cinnamon, burgundy and copper, in a breathtaking pattern not unlike the scales of a fish. Each board contains subtle variations that give every piece a unique look.

This wood came a long way before arriving in the industrial section of NW Portland, where grayed and weathered shipping dunnage made of the material sit, waiting to be transformed into your custom piece.

If you love the piece, but prefer a different finish, it can also be built in oak, pine, cedar, walnut, tigerwood and more, and at the dimensions of your choosing.
