Reclaimed Floating Shelf - Take 2
This shelf was based on an original design presented in the Noble Brothers portfolio. This version is made of reclaimed oak and an iron flat bar bracket, both the wood and iron were finished with clear sealer. The oak was reclaimed from old dunnage used in the shipyards and the saw markings, weathered cracking and years of abuse have given this lumber great character. The natural patina of the wood was highlighted with stain to bring out the darker tones of the weathering. This buyer has chosen to mount the shelf at a mid height, showcasing a favorite piece of art.
This shelf is sized at a length of 4 feet, 8 inches deep and 2 inches thick. It can be customized to any length and a maximum depth of 10".
