Reclaimed Maple Dining Table With Epoxy Stabilizer

This dining table is made of 150 year old plus maple that was reclaimed from a family barn in upstate New York. The great grandfather of this family originally immigrated to New York from Ireland. As he was a potato farmer, he did well and eventually enlarged the family business. This barn has great sentimental value to this young couple that commissioned us to build this table.
The dimensions are: 80 inches long x 38 inches wide x 30 inches high.

This lumber was quite cracked so we stabilized it with a mahogany inca and epoxy mixture. It took multiple fillings to complete this process but it really enhanced the look of this table.

If you have lumber that you would like to use for your project, please let us know and we will work with you on the design, color/finish, etc. Please note that the cost of this table for our customer was for the labor and materials to enhance this lumber. It will vary depending upon these costs and hours of labor.

Thank you.
