Handmade solid oak reclaimed/upcycled wood-top bar stool.
About a week ago, I made acquaintances with a gentleman that refurbishes semi trailers. This is the old flooring that he pulls out. It's a beautiful solid oak. Each top is somewhat unique in it's character - knots, nails, dings, holes, etc. Each top gets a nice, thick polyurethane finish on the wood and a clear coat on the metal frame. Everything is smooth to the touch.
For these particular stool tops, we've spent some extra time finishing the wood, so the 'aggressiveness' of the character is lessened, but not gone.
