Reclaimed Pine Bench With Steel Base
This bench was made for a client who needed a place to put on and tie shoes. The space was small, so the bench is short - made from a 2.5" thick piece of reclaimed pine. The wood actually still has square nails still embedded in it, sanded down to be shiny and smooth at the surface, as well as saw marks and other dings from a previous life on a farm. The base is welded from 1.5" tube steel, with threaded levelers for feet.
