Reclaimed Redwood Trestle Table
The redwood for this beautiful table came from a water tower that was built in the late 1800's in south eastern PA. It found it's way south with a young woodworker who couldn't choose between his love of woodworking and his desire to become a fighter pilot. When he heard the Air Force base in Mississippi had a well equipped wood shop, it became a no brainer; bring the wood with him, After building a canoe, he decided to sell some which I was only too happy to buy.
What impressed me the most was after 100+ years in the SE PA weather, the aged surface barely penetrated 1/8th inch.
This table is built to seat 6 comfortably and is finished with an exterior grade urethane, making it suitable for the dining room or your patio.
Dimensions: 72" x 42" x 30"
