Made for the manliest pub west of Eric the Red's mead hall. How weak your friends will look while cowering in its shadow. The top of this high top table was made with floor joists reclaimed from a Baltimore row home; you can still see nail holes and wiring cut outs. I hand planed each joist and routed out the wood to inlay the 4" iron strips. I hand-bent the iron pedestal using a U-bend, a foot up on the table, and lots of leverage. The concept for the arches was based on a Looney Tunes gun, when someone sticks a cork in the end, and the shot makes the gun blow up around the cork, splitting into different directions. This table is 43" high, and measures 30"x30", but I can make one to any dimensions.
