"Red Marble With Gold Veining" Trustone Statesman Fountain Pen In Rhodium And 22k Gold Metal

This pen starts out with a 'Tru-Stone' acrylic resin blank. The blank is made by mixing 85% real stone dust with pigments (in this case, a deep, rich, blood red with bright gold veining) and acrylic resin. It turns like real stone and looks and feels like real stone, at a fraction of the cost. Plus, it's extremely durable and won't crack like real stone! It's mated with probably my favorite metal parts, dollar for dollar, the Statesman. A large pen for a man's hand, it is superbly balanced for a great writing feel. It does NOT post, meaning you write with it with the cap unattached. The metal is finished in a very thick rhodium plate, with a 22kt Gold detail on the tip and the top, and a beautifully detailed centerband. The fountain nib is a German Scmidt, in iridium and 22kt Gold. The pen comes with a convertible ink pump for the ink of your choice. This pen is part of my Heirloom Series of pens, and is guaranteed for life against defects in workmanship and materials. This is a pen, if well cared for, that you will give to the next generation with pride!
