Renaissance Venus And Adonis Mural
This large original acrylic painting of Venus and Adonis was inspired by a painting by Renaissance artist Ricci Sebastiano originally painted at the Palazzo Pitti in Florence, Italy. My hand painted interpretation of this Baroque Fresco masterpiece comes complete with trompe l'oeil cracks and is painted on distressed plaster for authenticity. The trompe l'oeil stone framework adds a sophisticated "frame" to the piece. This painting measures 39" wide by 66" high and comes stretched and wrapped on wooden stretcher bars, ready to be framed or hung.
