Reproduction Island
When our client asked us to replicate this kitchen island from a photo on the cover of a popular renovation magazine, we were up for the challenge! Designed in-house, scaled down, then staged and built entirely in our shop for continuity in finish, this custom knotty alder kitchen is an authentic demonstration of imitation meeting inspiration.
WOOD: Knotty alder and paint grade maple.
FEATURES: Arched, raised-panel range hood. Rope mould crown accent; turned posts; split-turned posts at kitchen sink base cabinet. Baltic birch double-container trash pullout; large pot and pan drawers with ½" bottoms. Antique detailing, custom cabinetry and beautiful storage solutions. Countertop set at 38" per client request.
HARDWARE: Decorative pulls. Full-overlay Salice hinges, full extension glides.
FINISH: Conversion varnish (kitchen); paint, glaze, conversion varnish (island)
