Boscobel-Famous Historic Home Restoration
Restoration at famous historic house called "BOSCOBEL" on the Hudson River.
Here we restored/repaired the grand room's floor cloth, an early American floor decoration of hand painted canvas.
Boscobel's largest room, the entry hall, served several purposes. In addition to being the prime space for welcoming guests, it also was the scene for dances, concerts, and musicals and even large dinner parties. Lavishly decorated with reproduction trompe l'oeil ashlar wallpaper and a marbelized painted floor cloth, this room makes a grand impression on visitors.
