About this series:
My sons are 6 & 7. We read a lot of books. Two of my favorites of all time are Go Dog Go! & Are you My Mother by PD Eastman.
As a tribute to this style and color palate I am doing birds on pages
I love to capture the limited but lovely color palate of the print process at that time
as well as the simple lines with expressive features.
This set is designed to harken the drawings of that era- and revisit the nostalgia many of us feel for these books.
