This large oval serving platter is adorned with a reversed anatomical human heart hand etched into the surface of the piece. The piece if further adorned with lovely vintage style floral decals on both the front and back of the platter; the phrase "Sometimes being backwards feels so right" is hand stamped into the back as well.

This special piece was commissioned by a customer as a gift for his mother who happened to have been born with her heart reversed in her chest…a mirror image of what most of us have. I felt incredibly honored to be invited into such an intimate gift of love between a son and his mother.
