Ricordo Di Stresa Pocket Knife Necklace

This is a great find! A souvenir pocket knife from Stresa, Italy! The knife reads "Ricordo Di Stresa" or Remember Stresa.

Stresa is a beautiful town located on Lake Maggiore in Northern Italy. Ernest Hemingway famously visited the town. Part of his 1929 novel Farewell to Arms is set in the Grand Hotel des Iles Borromees in Stresa.

This knife, set on a long turquoise chain, dates between 1945 and 1950.
