We were commissioned by Interior Designer to create a solution to replace an existing built-in planter with fretwork extending to the ceiling that was limiting space and function.
This cabinet/counter system opens up the space between kitchen and dining area. The base unit features hinged doors on the kitchen side and sliding doors on the dining room side (where space was limited).
The whole unit fits into the existing footprint hole in the floor left by the planter and dovetails to the kitchen counter. Adjustable shelves throughout. Birch was the wood choice.
