Round Drop Leaf Table
My client had a need for a 36" round table with two 6" drop leaves.
I worked with her to design the perfect table for the space.
The top is Brazilian cherry (Jatoba) and the pedestal is pine and poplar. The base is primed and painted to match other furniture in the space.
The pedestal column is splined together.
I made the drop leaves using rule joints for strength and beauty.
I custom built the drop leaf pull-out supports.
The finish is five applications of Danish oil followed by hand rubbed Butcher wax.
