This chair is a reproduction of an early Queen Anne corner chair most likely made in Boston around 1740. It ended up in the possession of Judge Jonathan Sayward of York, Maine. It is documented in the book New England Furniture The Colonial Era by Brock Jobe and Myrna Kaye.
As with all my chairs all joinery is true to period. The finish is rubbed shellac
