Russian Olive Bookcase
The bookcase is made from Russian olive boards from one tree sustainably harvested from an urban setting and steel. The metal legs are notched into the edges of the boards so they "float" between them. The legs extend past the top shelf to lean books against. There are no exposed fasteners, but the legs and shelves can be separated for shipping. The legs have a distressed mill finish that is lightly mottled. The entire case has been finished with water-based lacquer.
